We had a fantastic meal on Friday...I had to work on Thanksgiving so we just celebrated the next day. It was pretty slow on Thursday..just one helicopter transfer to DHMC first thing in the morning with an MI patient. Molly and I got up early on Friday and got everything ready...bought a plain old Hannaford's bird (15 lbs.) instead of the expensive fresh Stonewood farms turkey and it was delicious! Lots of other goodies too and Martha joined us at 4 pm. John called just before this to say that he got a deer! It was a nice 5 pointer that he shot below Dan Boyce's home. (Dan got his deer on our land or somewhere between our land and Robin's) He was very excited! 131.5 lbs. I'm also including a little video of the gravy Queen. Martha always makes gravy and it's always good. Here are some pictures.
