Molly swimming at Sue's

Molly has been enjoying Sue's pool on these hot days.  We had 99 the other day, very hazy, hot and humid.  Glad some rain came in last night.  It's about 70 degrees now.

Girls day out!

would like it here!

Well Molly is very busy this summer, working at the Benson store almost everyday!  She got her first paycheck the other day and it made it all worthwhile!  She likes it and has learned a lot, works a variety of shifts, sometimes 6am -2 pm, sometimes 4-8 or 9pm on the weekend.  She had a day off yesterday so we headed to Rutland, I had an eye appointment, then we got manicures and pedicures for a treat!  Did lot's of errand, hit Hannaford's on the way home to get groceries.  We are set for Camp!!!  Can't wait to kayak and eat seafood!  lots of cookouts too!  John will be using Wallace's boat so that will be one less headache for him.  Hopefully there will be good fishing.  Looking forward to having friends and family stop out and relax!

Cookout on July 3rd, 2010

Had a great cookout on the 3rd, Sue Gilmore and Martha joined us.  Normally we would do it on the 4th but I had to work :(

Gordon Setter Family Reunion

Austin and BlazeAustin and BlazeAustin, Blaze and LibbyBlaze
Had a great visit with Austin's breeder and her husband on June 29th.  The McCoy's arrived with Austin's brother Blaze and their new female Libby around 1:30 and visited for a couple of hours.  The dogs got along well, although Austin was a bit intimidated at first and snapped at his brother.  Austin is about 70 lbs. and his brother is much bigger, probably about 85 lbs.  The female dog belongs to Austin's father's breeder.  She is 5 and has been a kennel dog all her life.  Just had a litter this spring and the owner new that the McCoy's were looking for a companion dog since their female (Austin's sister Bridie) died this spring.
