Happy Father's Day! We had lobster's the other night for a special dinner for John. Very tasty and only $6.99/lb at Hannaford's. Today we went to the Castleton diner for breakfast. It was nice having the weekend off although the weather wasn't the best. It threatened to rain both days although only sprinkled both. We rode Kacee yesterday. John mowed the lawn and mowed Robin and Jerry's. Molly is finally finished with school! She was so thrilled to finish her last exam. She had to meet with Ralph (the college prep guy on Saturday) She's applied to the Village Snack Bar and also picked up an application for the Lake house. Thursday I worked my usual 7a-7p shift, went to bed at 9:30 and the phone rang at 1:45. The police were bringing in a SANE case and they called everyone and no one else was available. (Did it matter that I worked 12 hours and had only slept for 4?) I ended up going in at 4am and working until 7pm that night. I was whipped. This week I work Monday and Tuesday 7a-7p, Wed. I have to go to a class all day in Bennington and Thursday they called and want me to do shift manager for 4 hours (Call in pay) I do have Friday off and the vet is supposed to come for Kacee's yearly shots and to have her teeth floated. Then back on for 7a-7p for the weekend! Can't wait until we go to Wallace's in July for vacation. Hopefully we will get some nice hot sunny weather. We hope to go to a place in Lincoln New Hampshire that has "Zip lines" It was a destination recreation on Channel 3.
We decided to give Austin a bath today too...now he smells delicious instead of "doggie" Molly's car had the ignition switch replaced last week..it kept not wanting to start and had the "theft system light" on. Seems to be running fine now.
Hope everyone is well and I'll try to be better about keeping up with the blog. Tom and Nancy your pictures are great!
