Molly getting ready for her interview.

Well yesterday Molly and I went to New London New Hampshire and toured Colby Sawyer College. We had an appointment at 10 am and arrived early about 9:15. It's a beautiful campus, located in a very quaint little town. The people were very outgoing and friendly. They made Molly feel very welcome and had a nice packet of information for her about their nursing program. We had a tour and then she had an interview and it went very well. The nursing students do all their clinical time at Dartmouth Hitchcock. The dorms were nice. Classes average 16-20 students....total student population is 1100, not 11,000 like UVM and UNH is even bigger. They also have an equestrian team!

August 10th 2009

Well today was the hottest day of the year! Ken came to shoe Kacee this morning. I rode early while it was still cool. When he arrived he commented that I hadn't gotten any hay yet...I replied that we talked to Zeke, but that his truck was broken down and it would be a while before it was delivered. He proceeded to take off her front shoes and guess who drives in with a load of hay! We quickly moved everything out of the way, Zeke backed into the barn and luckily Ken helped me unload and stack (only 90 bales) We have to go to NH tomorrow to look at Colby Sawyer College...I have a feeling there will be another load of hay dumped on the floor of the barn when we get home. Surprisingly it looks like really good hay for being so late in the summer. I am glad I only need 250 bales and only have one horse now!
